~There Once Was A Women Who Lived in a World Colored in Purple~
I once knew a women, who went by the name of "EB". She was a sweet little old women, who loved all things purple. She loved purple so much that her house was trimmed in purple, her phones were purple, her car was as close to purple as a dealer dared to manufacture. She was the consummate lady. There wasn't a day she wasn't adorned in purple from head to toe; always a skirt, and as unimaginable as this seems--always in good taste. At first it seemed novel, even eccentric. I knew EB a million years ago. It was a different place and a different life ago. I saw her smiling face every Tuesday at 10:15, as she limped along. I know she has since passed on, but every now and then I see something that brings a smile to my face and floods my head with images and fond memories of "The Purple Lady", Miss EB. This house, with the purple trim and purple awnings would have suited EB. This picture is for EB.
