~Little Man~

This little man stands as a guardian on the exterior walls of the grand St. Germain des Pre's in Paris. It's the details I have fallen in love with in Paris. It's a beautiful city; rich in ornate buildings all garnished with precious art work like this little man. How did these masterful artisan's create such fine detail with such primitive tools. The patience; the mastery of the craft; the tenacity to persist in creating with chisel and stone. It is these details I love; for without them the whole wouldn't be.
